The Hive reported for duty at 8:30am on Monday morning (June 8), awaiting Beyoncé’s spirit on ABC’s Good Morning America. The Beyhive was on high alert after GMA‘s dramatic teaser during Game 2 of the NBA Finals, with the tagline: “@Beyonce has something amazing she wants you to know: “This is something I have to share with everyone…”
The Big Secret came in the form of a plug for her vegan diet and book with exercise physiologist, Marc Borges, called The 22-Day Revolution. It’s no new news that Bey has been on this plant-based diet, which she first tackled with hubby, Jay Z, in December 2013. Since giving the major co-sign to vegan diets and launching her meal delivery service, she has had women across the globe trying the Bey diet, like Women’s Health, The Coveteur and InStyle.
Now, she’s all about that vegan life and flaunting her flawlessness for the world to see from Instagram to the Met Gala.
Here’s what she had to say in a recorded video on GMA:
“I am not naturally the thinnest woman. I have curves, I’m proud of my curves. I have struggled since a young age with diets. Finding something that actually works, that actually keeps the weight off has been difficult for me.”
Bey goes on to highlight the benefits: tighter, firmer skin and losing weight she could keep off. While Twitter wasn’t here for Mrs. Carter dietary guidelines, it had some of us (okay, Niki and I) contemplating if this vegan diet could be the answer to our fitness struggles.
yes, bey's flawless & i want in on her body party but is there a bacon-based diet option w/ her 22-day revolution or naw?
