Ladies Night: WNBA Draft 2015 Results

Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun was lit for this year’s WNBA Draft on Thursday (April 16). Swapping sneakers for heels and flats, some of the nation’s leading female ballers found a new home in the big league.

After shaking up the roster last week by opting to leave school early to enter the draft, Notre Dame’s Jewell Loyd and Minnesota’s Amanda Zahui B. were neck and neck for the top spot only for Loyd to become the No. 1 overall pick for the Seattle Storm. After the Tulsa Shock picked up Zahui, Huskies’ own Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis landed in Seattle, rounding out the top three picks.
