The 2016 Rio Olympics has been full of herstoric moments.

With 4,700 women competing across 28 women’s sports, including archery, golf and rugby, this year’s events have shown what badass women are really made of. Ladies of all shades and ages have hit the sand, basketball courts and beams while shattering records and snatching up medals in the process.

Here are some of the top highlights from the Olympic games that scream girl power.

Simone Biles

This 19-year- old came up from second place to bring home the all-around gold medal for the gymnastics competition. Scoring across the board in the uneven bars, balance beams and floor exercise competitions, Biles was flawless during the games and took home her first gold medal. Biles clinched her fourth gold with her astounding floor routine, marking her fifth overall medal in Rio. She even became the first woman to win back-to-back world and Olympic all around titles in 20 years.
